It is highly recommended that you do not leave any combat-enabled ships idling in an asteroid field as they can be destroyed. Bandits also have enhanced sensor effectiveness and as such may be able to attack you from outside of your own sensor range. It is highly recommended that you do not engage in space combat without a full squadron of ships.Īs of Year 22 Day 362, hostile NPC-controlled ships may attack and destroy any combat-enabled ship (cargo containers, satellites, fighters, gunships, corvettes, light freighters and heavy freighters currently) in the same asteroid field. If your ship is destroyed, it will be turned into a wreck and you will be placed into an escape pod. ![]() It is not yet possible to die from space combat however, it is possible for your ship(s) to be destroyed.
